Biznet Secures Major Sponsor for 2010


The first networking event for the 2010 saw over 60 Biznet members and guests enjoy the hospitality of the refurbished Katoomba Golf Club. The club put on a wonderful spread of finger food and members were excited to be back with the opportunity to network with so many local businesses.

Chris Kemp, Wal Campion and Kier Harvey from the Commonwealth Bank gave a presentation of their services to members and announced an eftpos merchant deal for members that will save most businesses a huge amount of money.

The evening was a tremendous success with the official launch of the BIZNET Merchant Offer in addition to the announcement of our continued support as Major sponsor of BIZNET and the BMBA Awards for the 2010/2011 financial year. We are very much looking forward to a strong long term partnership across the Blue Mountains Region” Chris Kemp, Local Business Banking Manager for the Western Region exclaimed.

The next event on the Biznet calendar will be a seminar on Workplace Relations and the implications for Employers of the Fair Work Australia arrangements. This will be held at Leura Golf Club on February 17, 5.30 – 7.00pm and presented by Anton Duc in conjunction with Philip Penman from Liberty Legal & Conveyancing. Anton Duc has considerable experience and expertise in this area, and will be happy to answer questions after a short presentation.
